Established in 1997, The British International School Ukraine (BISU) was the first to bring a British style of education to Ukraine and is internationally certified and widely accepted as one of the country’s most prestigious international schools. All subjects of the school programme are delivered in English by fully qualified teachers mainly from Britain.

International Support Teacher is a key role to be found in British and International schools.

The year 2022 brought changes to BISU regular educational processes. Currently, our blended learning model combines online and face-to-face learning spaces and experiences.

Your key task will be to provide comprehensive, professional and tailored support to British Teacher who will be delivering lessons online, as well as to stay with students in the classroom and assist them with their educational and social development.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience working with children and/or young adults.
• English language level of B2 or higher
• Excellent communication skills (written, oral and presentational)
• Experience working in a school or kindergarten is desirable.
• Advanced IT skills
• Ambitious, pro-active, quick learner and a good team player

Nice to have:

• Completed degree of pedagogical or philological education
• Verve, desire to develop, wit, love for children.

What you will be doing:

• Provide an organised, disciplined and stimulating environment in the classroom.
• In collaboration with the International Teacher actively participate in the educational process according to the programme.
• Communicate with parents.
• Organize an educational space.
• Establish the process of communicational and technical group interaction in the classroom.
• Motivate and promote the development of the potential of participants and the class in general.
• Support participants in the realization of educational goals
• Contribute to the creation of short, medium and long-term planning in support of the agreed curriculum in the format requested.
• Promote the use of English language and support the development of students' English language skills.
• Assist with preparation of materials needed for lessons, work with documentation.
• Undertake the supervision of students during rest periods between lessons, and lunch/break as per the duty rota
• Make written and/or oral assessments and evaluations of individual students and groups.
• Support and implement the positive behaviour policy.
• Undertake any other reasonable task.

• допомагати у підготовці матеріалів, необхідних для уроків, працювати з документацією;
• здійснювати нагляд за студентами під час перерв між уроками, а також під час обіду/перерви згідно з графіком чергування;
• проводити письмове та/або усне оцінювання та оцінювання окремих студентів та груп;
• підтримувати та впроваджувати політику позитивної поведінки;
• виконувати будь-які інші розумні завдання.
