Job Description

In this position you are a part of the Brand Team and support them on projects directed at maximising company profits and developing sales strategies and marketing campaigns.

Brand Team is adapting and implementing key marketing strategies defined by Mattel Regional Brand Team for Ukraine. We manage 20 Mattel brands, among them Barbie, Hot Wheels, Fisher-Price, Monster High, Enchantimals and others.

You will work with the sales team, logistic managers, finance, retailers and the agencies. Your Primary responsibilities will be:

  • Undertaking daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities.
  • Working closely with sales and warehouse and fostering the circulation of information between them.
  • Assisting brand managers in managing product range assortment. Unpacking, testing novelties and arranging toys on shelves of the office showroom.
  • Update spreadsheets, databases and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial information.
  • Compiling reports and product materials, assisting with creating presentations with co-workers.
  • Assistance in briefing and training the sales force.
  • Contribute in A&P setting & monitoring by type: local PR — local events — media buying — local adaptations — content placement — local brand initiatives — trade initiatives.
  • Ensure constant monitoring and analysis of sales results as well as competitive scape.

  • Based on your previous experience you know how to get things done within organization, building collaborative teams and communicate with impact across the organization. In order to accomplish your most important goals, you will need to be able to set your priorities, push the business with your new ideas, think about process improvement and take action when necessary.

Experience, Education & Skills

Minimum requirements

  • University degree in Economics, Business Administration or Marketing is a strong advantage.
  • Experience as a marketing assistant or work in a media/advertising is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Advanced PC skills and working knowledge of software packages, especially in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Fluent in written&spoken English.
  • Strong interest in media/advertising.
  • Organized, curious, self-starter, comfortable with numbers, capable to perform your duties diligently.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, able to prioritize assignments to manage many diverse tasks simultaneously.
  • Solid interpersonal skills to interact effectively with the various parties you contact in the course of work.
  • Creative skills appreciated.
