Logistics Coordinator (LTL)

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator specializing in Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) shipments to join our team. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing LTL shipping operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods for our clients. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen understanding of logistics processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage LTL Shipping Clients:
   • Act as the primary point of contact for our LTL shipping customers.
   • Address inbound emails and inquiries promptly and professionally.
2. Quoting LTL Shipments:
   • Analyze shipment details and customer requirements to provide accurate LTL shipping quotes.
   • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to determine pricing and service options.
3. Shipment Coordination:
   • Utilize Transportation Management System (TMS) to build and coordinate LTL shipments.
   • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with shipping regulations.
4. Carrier Coordination:
   • Communicate with LTL carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
   • Negotiate rates and service terms with carriers to optimize shipping efficiency.
5. Tracking and Tracing:
   • Monitor LTL shipments throughout the transportation process.
   • Proactively address any issues or delays and provide timely updates to clients.

Job requirements

• Upper-intermediate English level or higher
• Proven experience in logistics coordination,specifically with LTL shipments.
• Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and shipping software.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) for interacting with clients and carriers.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving skills to resolve shipping issues effectively.
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry best practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet shipping deadlines.
